I have worked in the countryside for almost twenty years and for ten of these years I have been writing about it.  On a freelance basis I have worked for numerous periodicals, news papers and magazines. I am the author of 'A Guide to Dry Stone Walling'  'A Guide to Stock Fencing' 'Building Show Jumps'  and 'Building fences Shelters and Jumps' - all published by Crowood Press. I also write for the Country Smallholding Magazine. My new book, 'Building Countryside Paths and Tracks', will be published in May 2006. I am also a freelance photographer and enjoy taking photos of anything countryside orientated, especially equine. I am the Webmaster for the Berwyn and Dee Pony Club and I run an equine/countryside photo website.
